1.  He was born in India, educated at four universities in India, England, and Canada, and worked as a Chemical Engineer. He has a PhD in Chemical Engineering.

2.  He lived and worked in India, England, Canada, the USA, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Cyprus and Bahrain. He now lives at one of Canada’s most beautiful places, Sidney by the Sea, on the beautiful Vancouver Island. 

3.  He speaks several languages.

4.  He has travelled to more than 100 countries.

5.  He lives with his partner, an avid reader who reads over 100 books a year and has a personal library of over 5,000. He has a daughter, a Hollywood actress, and a son, an executive with a major media corporation.

6.  He has three grandchildren.

7.  He has a dog called Bodhi.

8.  He loves sports and has enjoyed playing field hockey, soccer, cricket, badminton, table tennis, squash and golf.

9.  While he played many sports during college, he learned to write poetry at 21, cook at 40, ski at 50, scuba dive at 53, snorkel at 53, canoe at 55, write books at 60, and golf at 65. He is still learning.

10.     He has already written more than 50 books and aims to write 100.
